With so many exercise regimes, it is extremely difficult to fit them into our busy lifestyles.
So many folk will give up without even trying, stating 'There just aren't enough hours in my day!'!!'
But, that's the beauty of Kegel and pelvic floor exercises. It is possible to do them virtually anywhere.
Strap-hanging on the tube or bus on the way to work, in your car waiting for the traffic lights to change, standing in line at the bus stop or supermarket checkout, these are all places that you can squeeze and release without anyone around you noticing.
In the house, whilst waiting for the boiling kettle or the ping of the microwave, doing the ironing and the washing up are all activities which easily allow you to perform the exercises.
Focus on standing in good posture and then start contracting and squeezing those muscles.
You can also do them sitting down so, if you're working at your desk or taking a coffee break with a newspaper, during the commute to work on the bus or the train, at the cinema or theatre or even between courses at a dinner party.
The parts of our bodies which benefit most noticeably from regular Kegel exercise are the genitals.
For men, improved and more enduring sexual performance, as well as the extra blood flow keeping that prostate gland healthy. And enhanced vaginal muscle tone for the ladies, so that's why one of the best times to practice is whilst making love.
How much better for a woman, to get first-hand commentary about the positive effects of her increased muscle tone?
And, for the guys, to learn which method of controlling the thrust and angle of his trajectory is the most effective?
Cystitis, hemorrhoids and problems with bladder control when you sneeze or jump will all benefit from the improved muscle tone and better blood flow to the area, which are natural consequences of regular Kegels.
Making kegel and pelvic floor exercises part of your normal schedule is crucial. Being able to fit them routinely into your normal schedule will provide tremendous benefits to your future health.
Of course, there are going to be those days when it really is just impossible. So why not just double up the next day...?
Just Keep Squeezing!
